2:【Limited Express Maizuru】 Sightseeing in Maizuru is available.

Before going to Amanohashidate, you may want to visit “Roadside Station Maizuru Port Toretore Center” which is famous for its seafood market! If so, we recommend that you take the Maizuru Limited Express train via the nearby Nishi-Maizuru Station.
The Maizuru Express is a limited express train that runs from Kyoto to Higashi-Maizuru.
Eight trains a day run from Kyoto Station to Nishi-Maizuru Station, and the journey takes less than 1.5 hours.
From Nishi-Maizuru Station to Amanohashidate takes about 40 minutes by regular train on the Tango Railway Miyamai-Miyaho Line.
The fare is 3,420 yen, which includes the express and reserved seat on the Maizuru limited express train. And the Kyoto Tango Railway ticket is 650 yen, so the total fare is 4,070 yen.

Take a Car from Kyoto to Amanohashidate
